Dexter Senior Portraits

Dexter and I headed Down Town Tacoma thinking it was going to be sunny out, but not too far into the shoot it started to poor down rain (Common in Washington). Thankfully Dexter was willing to work with me, so we went ahead and shot in the rain. Not only was it my first time photographing in the rain, but it was my first time photographing a ballerina. This talented, enthusiastic girl started dancing when she was 3, and now at the age of 18 she is still pursuing her passion! She has studied in New York, Houston, New Mexico, Michigan and in San Francisco. She is currently dancing for the Metropolitan Ballet of Tacoma and now going to study performing arts next year at UW.
