Okay... something that I find funny! I don't know that I've actually met Dak and Kristie formally... but they used to come into Taco Del Mar often, where I held my first job for 2 years. I focused on my photography for a year before I got hired at my second job as a local Tacoma barista. And guess who I ran into? Yep! Dak and Kristie! After the coffee shop closing down, I had gotten another job at a neighborhood coffee shop close by, and yes they followed me there too. I also ran into them at the Market, Proctor St... after awhile I assumed they were stalking me, but to find out they are normal like me and one of the sweetest couples I have met!
Kristie loves her job as an environmental attorney working for the State of Washington, but plans to focus on family and work just part time after adopting. Dak is a web usability expert, and part of the tech industry in Seattle.
Dak and Kristie met in Seattle on Summer Solstice (the longest day of the year) in June 2000, and were married five years later on the same day.
They are hoping there’s a special little someone out there who they are meant to find and to love without question the rest of our lives. They are looking forward to sharing the world with this child and see it through his or her eyes.
